Where should I live.
Feng Shui

Feng Shui has become rather popular in our modern life style. It is all about harnessing the Positive energy that flows within the Earth. This Ancient Chinese Art form has been practiced for over 3000 years. feng shui involves arranging your environment in certain ways to improve your lifestyle and every aspect of your life including health wealth and relationships. This brief guide will dispel the myths and point you in the right direction to find out more. Firstly, Feng means Wind and Shui means Water. Secondly, When these elements of Nature surrounding where you live or work are in harmony, you will definitely prosper in everything that effects you. The Earth has both positive and negative energy lines that flow all the time. You may take advantage of good energy and deflect negative energy, through the use of Feng Shui. The positive energy lines are called Sheng chi (the dragons breath) and they bring good health and fortune. The negative energy lines are called Shar chi. they bring, bad luck, ill health, misfortune and much more. These are also known as Poison Arrows and for very good reason.

Important rule Number one. Where you live and work is of vital importance to your health and well-being. If this is something that you can't really change, then Feng Shui can show you how to dispel the negative forces and attract the Dragons cosmic breath (within reason). If you live near power lines for instance. Then the advice is MOVE.

Protection from hostile forces in your environment should be your first priority. First, you will need protection in the form of The four Celestial Animals

1. The Green Dragon (for abundance and growth)

2. The Red Phoenix (to bring you opportunity)

3. The Black Turtle (for support and grounding)

4. The White Tiger (to provide health and protection)

These four items can be elaborate statues or simple pictures to hang on your walls. Where you put them, or hang them is very important.

As you look from the front of your dwelling, (hopefully looking South). Place the Turtle on the wall behind you. Place the Phoenix on the wall in front of you. Put the Tiger on the right wall and the Dragon on the left.

You must also place them at different heights in the home. The Turtle is put in the highest place, then the Dragon, then the Tiger and finally the Phoenix is placed in the lowest position.

Perfect feng shui position would be a dwelling where.

1 Behind it is a mountain. Or something like a large building or hill to represent the mountain. This is the Turtle.

2 Open spaces in front. Preferably with a view of slow moving water. You should be able to see the horizon. This is the Phoenix.

3 To the left are hills or something like buildings to represent them. This is the Dragon.

4 To the right are lower hills. This is the Tiger.

and that is the perfect feng shui position. You also need to look at Yin Yang balance and colour.
